Job summary

Sargent Lundy is seeking a Lead Substation Engineer to apply expertise in protective relaying and control systems. You will lead modifications for substation designs, mentor engineers, and tackle engineering issues. This hybrid role allows flexibility with three days in the office and two remote.

A bachelor's degree in engineering and over 12 years of relevant experience are required. Competitive benefits and relocation support are also offered.

Qualifications

• 12 or more years experience designing substations.
• Experience serving as firm/client liaison.
• Proficiency with design codes like NEC and IEEE.

Responsibilities

• Work on substation modifications and upgrades.
• Prepare relaying philosophies and SCADA concepts.
• Guide junior and senior engineers in design efforts.

Skills

Designing substations at 138kV and above

PE license

Experience with protective relay equipment

Proficiency with MS Office

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency in SKM, ETAP, ASPEN

Education

Bachelor of Science Engineering degree

ABET accredited engineering program
