Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead substation design and provide technical direction for a team delivering safe and cost-effective engineering services. You will supervise discipline work, manage budgets and schedules, and support proposals and business development.

Requirements include 8+ years of engineering experience, an ABET/EAC accredited bachelor's degree, and a PE license. Experience in utility substations and energy storage projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a practicing engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET/EAC accredited program or equivalent evaluation.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline work for substation projects and perform responsible charge engineering duties.
• Manage project schedules and budgets for utility substation projects.
• Support proposal development, cost estimating, and business development.
