Job summary

IES Communications, LLC. is seeking a Crew Lead - Structured Cabling to act as the on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. You will ensure job completion according to quality and safety requirements while maintaining staff efficiency on the project.

The role involves leading crews, coordinating with the Project Manager, and ensuring timely, accurate project paperwork. Overtime is available and a $3,500 sign-on bonus applies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory/managerial experience.
• Proficiency with listed tools.
• Able to read blueprints and project documents.
• Know universal communications color codes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews; train staff and ensure safety and quality adherence; conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity, completion, and budget compliance.
• Complete all project paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, work orders, etc.).
• Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings as required.
• Resolve technical issues and support project process improvements.
