IES Communications in the United States seeks a Technician II - Structured Cabling to act as a lead member of a technical team. You will coordinate small groups of installers and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, while performing high‑quality cable installation tasks.

The role involves setting up work areas, installing outlets and racks, testing circuits, reading blueprints, and training junior staff. Requires 2+ years in telecom, high school diploma, and valid driving ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in telecommunications or related field and ability to supervise others.
• Proficient with listed tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents.
• Know universal communications color codes.
• Must meet driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate small groups of installers and supervise daily workload.
• Install outlets, jacks, face plates, and racks per S standards.
• Perform testing and troubleshoot circuits.
• Identify active voice or data circuits.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
