McMillen, Inc. designs and builds solutions in water resources. A Structural Project Engineer with 5–10 years of experience will focus on dams, fisheries, hydropower and related infrastructure, leading design and analysis efforts.

You will develop design documentation, perform structural analysis, draft drawings, and support construction. Travel up to 15% is required; a P.E. licensure is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
• P.E. or P.Eng. licensure is a plus.
• Experience with water resource infrastructure incl. fishery projects, hydropower, dams, water conveyance, storm water networks.
• Experience with FE A modeling software for linear/non-linear analysis; ABAQUS or ANSYS/LS-DYNA is a plus.
• Seismic loads analysis knowledge including coefficient methods, response spectrum, time history.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of Design Documentation Reports and technical memos.
• Evaluate and apply advanced structural design techniques.
• Perform structural computations by hand and using design software.
• Develop project details and drawings by hand or CAD.
• Edit specifications and assist with Project Manual.
• Provide construction support including submittals and site inspections.
• Develop FEA models and present results to clients.
• Manage design/construction planning and field data collection.
• Mentor other engineering staff.
