Job summary

Hargrove seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform complete designs of civil and structural assignments under general supervision, using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. The role requires a BS/MS in Civil Engineering and 3+ years of experience, with PE preferred.

Responsibilities include leading small to mid-size teams, developing layouts, performing preliminary designs, and ensuring conformance to codes. Proficiency in CAD tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete designs of civil/structural assignments under general supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies as needed to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for project estimates.
• Check calculations for conformance to codes, specifications and good engineering practice.
• Lead small to mid-size teams coordinating civil/structural efforts.
• Provide technical guidance to drafting/engineering personnel.
