Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Experience with IBC/ASCE/ACI standards and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
• Check calculations for accuracy and conformance to codes and specs.
• Lead small to large project teams and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Provide field data gathering and construction support as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in preparing procurement packages.
