Job summary
Hargrove is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Mobile, AL to lead the complete design of complex civil/structural projects. The role requires extensive experience and proficiency with structural analysis and codes, working under general supervision.
Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and a PE license is preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential as you coordinate interdisciplinary teams and review submittals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of IBC and related standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI).
Responsibilities
- Perform complete design of complex civil/structural engineering assignments.
- Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
- Produce detailed design calculations and sketches for construction.
- Lead and coordinate small to large project teams.
- Review vendor drawings and construction submittals for conformance.
