Job summary

Hargrove and Associates is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to supervise and provide technical direction for a team of engineers and designers in civil/structural projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in the field, a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, and PE licensure; responsibilities include developing design criteria, preparing estimates, and coordinating with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 20+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Strong leadership and project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers delivering civil/structural projects on time and within budget.
• Review and approve civil/structural deliverables and estimates.
• Coordinate with client requirements and ensure codes and permits.
• Develop design criteria and cost studies; produce calculations and drawings.
• Mentor staff and develop training.
