Hargrove Life Sciences, LLC is seeking a civil/structural engineer to design and review complex projects under supervision. You will develop layouts, perform calculations, and prepare drawings for construction, coordinating with drafting and design teams across disciplines.

The role requires a BS/MS in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and PE registration is highly preferred. Strong CAD skills and knowledge of IBC and industry standards are essential.

Formación

• Knowledge and application of the International Building Code and associated standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.).
• Expertise with civil/structural analysis software including operating and interpreting results.
• Knowledge of the discipline specific methods, practices and techniques required to engineer, design and construct process and manufacturing projects.
• Able to lead a small to medium team to deliver on commitments.
• Working knowledge of CAD software, either AutoCAD, Microstation or both.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Virtual team skills and cross divisional relationships are developed and able to provide interoffice execution support with general supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all aspects for complete designs of civil/structural assignments under supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Create design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
• Check calculations for conformance to codes and client criteria.
• Lead small/medium teams to coordinate civil/structural efforts.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and assist drafting groups.
