Job summary

Foodland Farms Ka Makana Ali\'i is seeking a Lead Cook to join our kitchen team. We are looking for high energy, creative culinary professionals who are passionate about food and delivering exceptional experiences to the community.

You will support the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily operations, supervise line staff, and ensure safety and sanitation while maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience in a culinary position in a high-volume food service establishment.
• Must have TB clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies.

Responsibilities

• supporting and assisting both the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily operations of the kitchen
• oversight of all kitchen needs in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef
• when working the line, management authority over the line staff (includes line cooks, prep cooks, and utility/dishwashers)
• observe and enforce company standard operating procedures
• ensuring all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
• assistance with management of culinary staff
