Job summary

Foodland Farms Ala Moana is hiring line cooks to join our market''s culinary team in Hawai'i. We seek energetic, creative culinary professionals passionate about providing exceptional food experiences to the community.

Cooks will prepare and cook high-quality foods reflecting Hawaii''s diverse food culture while upholding safety, standards, and operating procedures. Ability to work independently or in a team and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knife skills and basic cooking techniques required.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation methods, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and standardized procedures.
• TB Clearance required (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• preparing ingredients and/or cooking menu items from prepped ingredients
• consistent execution of standardized recipes
• observe and enforce company standard operating procedures
• ensuring all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
• supporting prep duties as necessary
