Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate in Englewood, FL to lead front-line retail operations and mentor a team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will ensure compliant, efficient store performance and model Curaleaf's standards for service and operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and hands-on management of opening/closing, POS, inventory, and guest engagement in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing or sales experience
• Minimum 1 year of POS system and cash handling experience
• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in retail
• 6 months of store operations experience including opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming environment and coach the team to deliver exceptional service
• Empower associates with personalized product recommendations and expert guidance
• Drive consultative selling and effective product education on the floor
• Enroll guests in rewards program and capture customer insights
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace
• Perform opening and closing duties, cash reconciliation, and POS maintenance
• Verify IDs and maintain accurate POS profiles
• Ensure inventory integrity and order fulfillment
• Lead inventory counts and overnight audits
• Maintain a clean and guest-ready store environment
• Uphold SOPs, safety protocols, and state regulations
• Achieve daily KPI goals and upsell
• Stay informed on promotions and product updates
• Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching
