Job summary

Curaleaf in Deland, FL is seeking a Lead Store Associate to guide a frontline team, delivering welcoming customer experiences and representing the Curaleaf brand on the floor. You will coach staff, drive performance, manage daily operations, verify IDs, and ensure a compliant, high-performing store environment while meeting KPIs and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in retail store operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Store Associate with consistent performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and coach the team to do the same.
• Drive consultative selling with personalized product recommendations.
• Lead inventory counts and ensure inventory integrity.
• Execute opening and closing duties and cash reconciliation.
