Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa seeks a Supervisor – Stewarding to lead daily stewarding operations, ensuring top sanitation, cleanliness, and efficiency across back‑of‑house areas. You will supervise the team, coordinate cleaning activities, and uphold health standards to safeguard guests and staff.

The role requires 2–4 years in stewarding with 1–2 years in supervision, familiarity with dishwashing equipment, and a Food Safety Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Food Safety Manager Certification required or must be obtained upon hire.
• 2–4 years of stewarding or kitchen sanitation experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of dishwashing equipment, cleaning procedures, and chemical safety standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in a casino, resort, or large hospitality operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises stewarding staff to ensure cleaning and sanitation.
• Creates and maintains daily staff schedules.
• Coordinates with culinary and service teams for back‑of‑house support.
• Monitors safe use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
• Performs deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, walls, floors, and walk‑ins.
• Assists with dishwashing, floor maintenance, and trash removal.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in stewarding areas.
• Busses, cleans, and resets tables to support front‑of‑house.
• Reports equipment issues or safety hazards to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
