Job summary

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and manage stewarding staff, including dishwashers and cleaners; conduct performance evaluations.
Ensure the kitchen's dishwashing, sanitation, and food preparation areas meet health and safety standards.
Establish preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs for stewarding across outlets.
Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, china, glassware, and equipment; requisition necessary items.
Oversee maintenance of kitchen equipment; ensure cleanliness, good condition, and proper storage; evaluate processes.
Ensure the department adheres to property policies, health regulations, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with chefs and management to ensure equipment is available and functional for operations.
Assist the Director on projects and special events, including setup and breakdown for Banquet events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
