Job summary

Modernizing Medicine, Inc. (ModMed) seeks a Manager, Cloud Engineering to lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers ensuring reliability, performance, and cost optimization for our AWS cloud platform.

You will drive SRE adoption, automate processes, and align initiatives with strategic goals, overseeing DataDog observability, Jenkins CI/CD, and Kubernetes containerization to scale cloud services responsibly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8–10 years in Site Reliability / Cloud Engineering, with leadership experience.
Hands-on AWS experience with observability (DataDog).
Automation and IaC with Terraform or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Lead Cloud Engineering team to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud services.
Develop and execute a roadmap for cloud infrastructure aligned with business goals and SRE best practices.
Oversee automation, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and AWS service integrations.
Implement observability solutions (DataDog) and cost-conscious monitoring.
Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cost-effective cloud solutions.
