Job summary

Wolfoods, a camp dining provider, seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at on-site summer camps. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced camp kitchen.

Live on-site in rustic settings is required for this seasonal, six-day work week, May–Sept. Excellent pay, a performance bonus, room & board, and travel support are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities; iPad savvy.
• Able to identify all Big 9 Allergens.
• Physical ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep, production for designated day parts, and menu specs; ensure quality.
• Ensure allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
