Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead and oversee all prep and production for designated day parts at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will manage staff, ensure allergen safety, and maintain top quality in a fast-paced camp kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week, ServSafe Allergens certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a kitchen setting with batch and scratch cooking.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced camp kitchen.
• Knowledge of allergen protocols and safety standards.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic camp environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff, maintaining high energy and teamwork.
• Oversee food prep, portion control, and scratch cooking for day parts.
• Enforce allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan).
• Manage inventory, ordering, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
