Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires readiness to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and live in rustic camp settings while delivering top-quality meals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Excellent leadership, cooking, and allergen safety skills; able to navigate tablets and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prep and production for designated day part.
• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Manage allergen protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
• Maintain inventory and assist with daily reporting.
