Job summary

Wolfoods seeks a Special Diets Chef to lead on-site kitchen operations at our rustic summer camp network. The role focuses on supervising staff, ensuring allergen safety, and delivering high-quality, scratch-made meals to diverse campers.

You will manage daily prep and production for designated day parts in a fast-paced, high-volume camp kitchen, with room for leadership growth and a strong emphasis on food safety and dietary accommodations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain health/sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
