Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Training Project Manager to lead efforts from concept through commissioning of training hardware. You will interface between the Mission Operations Training Team and engineering/vendors, translating training needs into concrete requirements for mockups, courses, and software.

You will collaborate with systems engineering, structures, and avionics to ensure fidelity, oversee V&V, and own all project documentation and training events, including instructor-led sessions and

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in operations, systems engineering, or project management.
• Experience with requirements definition through delivery and test activities.
• Ability to work independently with sound technical judgment.
• Highly organized with strong self-management and complex project execution.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead PM efforts for training hardware development from concept to commissioning.
• Serve as primary technical/programmatic contact between training and engineering teams.
• Translate training objectives into verifiable technical requirements for mockups, courses, and software.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, structures, crew systems, avionics to ensure fidelity.
• Oversee V&V of training hardware and its use for training effectiveness.
• Own project documentation including plans, interface control docs, tests, manuals.
• Own training events using lectures, rehearsals, and hardware demos.
