Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a dedicated trainer to design, develop, and execute training for flight operations and support teams across In-Space Systems. You will lead hands-on events, simulations, and rehearsals to ensure safe, repeatable mission operations.

Applicants should have a BS in engineering or education and 5+ years of space/military training experience, with travel readiness and strong communication skills. Training assets and simulators will be expanded over time.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering, education, or equivalent.
• 5 years of space mission training development/execution experience.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills for technical training.
• Experience writing training materials (objectives, plans, tests).
• Willingness to travel (<10 trips/year) and support varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute training for ops controllers, engineering support, AI&T, launch services operators, and payload customers.
• Lead training areas or initiatives; take direction from senior staff.
• Collaborate with engineers and payload teams to ensure relevant training for mission support.
• Run simulators and training assets for hands-on events.
• Define requirements and support future training simulators and interfaces.
• Evaluate operator proficiency and maintain training records.
