Job summary

Vast Space LLC in Long Beach is seeking a Lead Integration Build Engineer to guide the build, integration, and test of flight hardware for Haven-1, reporting to the Manager, Integration. The role focuses on turning design into a built, tested station ready to host humans in space.

You will grow and lead a multidisciplinary team, design manufacturing processes, and coordinate with design engineering, supply chain, and mission management to ensure safe, on-time, cost-effective realization of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years of related engineering experience.
• Experience leading teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers and specialists focused on building, testing, and integrating flight hardware for Haven-1.
• Coordinate hardware production, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Collaborate with design engineering, supply chain, and mission management.
