Job summary

Vast in Long Beach is seeking a Sr. Components Technician to support the design and build of Haven space stations. You will assemble, test flight hardware, and work with high pressure fluids systems.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, maintaining labs, and supporting test campaigns; travel up to 25% and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed. This full-time role offers equity and a wide benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing, test, operations, HVAC or similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace, power and gas, or high-reliability manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and test flight hardware including high pressure fluids systems.
• Fabricate, clean and activate ground support equipment with engineering input.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing and testing equipment.
• Support development and test campaigns via ground and flight equipment.
• Maintain laboratory/workshop cleanliness and inventory.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
