Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in San Diego is hiring a Lead, Project Engineer to support Space & Intel programs. You will lead a project team, manage cost, schedule, and technical aspects, and coordinate reviews with program managers and customers.

A government security clearance is required or must be obtain able. The role demands a strong background in electrical engineering, leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, and proven experience with contract-driven programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team to meet customer requirements within cost and schedule commitments.
• Develop and coordinate cost/schedule/technical aspects of projects.
• Review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare reports.
• Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and satisfaction goals.
• Identify and mitigate program-level risks.
• Coordinate between resource managers and obtain necessary reviews and approvals.
