Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in San Diego seeks a Lead, Project Engineer to support the Space & Intel product lines in development efforts for programs and IRAD projects. The successful candidate will lead a project team, coordinate cost/schedule/technical aspects, and ensure reviews and approvals are secured to meet customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, and a Graduate Degree with 4+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team to meet customer requirements within cost and schedule commitments.
• Oversee and coordinate cost/schedule/technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects.
• Review status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Assess engineering issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Identify, track, mitigate, manage, and disposition program-level risks.
• Coordinate with resource managers to ensure necessary reviews and approvals.
