Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking a Lead, Project Engineering to lead space system project teams and drive successful execution from concept to test. You will manage cost, schedule, and technical performance while coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring customer requirements are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience, with security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; 9+ years of relevant experience (or 6+ with graduate degree; or 13+ with no degree).
Ability to obtain a federal security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of Space System project teams to meet customer requirements within cost and schedule.
Coordinate cost, schedule, and technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects within program guidelines.
Review status of engineering projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or equivalent fiscal responsibility.
Identify and mitigate program-level risks and opportunities to meet productivity and quality goals.
Estimate resource and material needs for the project/product.
Coordinate interdependencies within projects and with the Space Enterprise.
