Job summary
Viridan Group seeks a Senior/Lead Solutions Engineer focused on large loads and data centers. You will lead engagements with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and AI data center developers, taking complex power solutions from concept through 30% design and Final Investment Decision.
The role blends front-end engineering, customer engagement, and commercial strategy, with responsibilities spanning design, modeling, and collaboration across diverse teams to deliver scalable, cost-effective
Qualifications
- Five or more years in applications or systems engineering, technical sales or solution design in energy storage or data centers.
- Strong knowledge of BESS architecture, power systems, and medium-voltage equipment.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into practical customer solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical engagement with hyperscalers and large-load customers.
- Develop conceptual and 30% designs for BESS and hybrid storage systems.
- Define system architecture, sizing, and dispatch strategies.
- Produce site layouts, single-line diagrams, and BOMs.
- Lead RFIs/RFPs and select BESS, PCS, and MV equipment.
- Support modeling for grid services and techno-economic optimization.
- Collaborate with BD, transmission/interconnection, preconstruction, and delivery teams.
