Job summary

Freshworks seeks a Lead Solution Engineer to join the North America GTM team, supporting SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing. You will partner with Account Executives, lead technical discovery, and design tailored solutions that map to customer priorities.

You’ll build industry-specific demos, articulate the value of ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM and AI capabilities, and drive compelling technical and business conversations with diverse stakeholders. This role emphasizes collaboration and urgency.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Solution Engineering or similar pre-sales experience.
• Experience selling SaaS to one or more of: SLED, Higher Education, or Manufacturing.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with ability to convey complex concepts.
• Experience with ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ESM or related platforms is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated Solution Engineering partner to SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing sales teams.
• Collaborate with customers to identify and address business and technology challenges.
• Lead technical and business discovery with Account Executives during the sales cycle.
• Translate customer requirements into defined business and technical solutions.
• Build and deliver tailored demonstrations aligned to industry workflows and use cases.
• Articulate the value of Freshworks ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM and AI capabilities to various audiences.
• Develop repeatable vertical-specific demos and best practices for GTM.
