Job summary

Freshworks seeks a Lead Solution Engineer to support our North America GTM for SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing verticals. You’ll translate customer needs into compelling Freshworks ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM and AI-enabled solutions, partnering with sales to craft tailored strategies and deliver impactful demos.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Success to ensure industry-focused success and repeatable demonstrations that drive strategic wins.

Qualifications

6–8 years in Solution Engineering or similar pre-sales roles.
Experience selling SaaS into SLED, Higher Education, or Manufacturing.
Strong ability to translate customer needs into tailored Freshworks solutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as a dedicated Solution Engineering partner to SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing sales teams.
Lead technical discovery and develop tailored solution strategies.
Deliver demonstrations aligned to industry workflows and customer priorities.
Translate customer requirements into defined business and technical solutions.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
