Job summary

Freshworks is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer for the North America GTM team, supporting SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing. You will lead technical discovery with sales, tailor solutions, and deliver compelling product demonstrations aligned to industry use cases.

You’ll translate customer requirements into Freshworks ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM and AI-driven solutions, partnering with Account Executives and other teams to close opportunities and accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar pre-sales experience.
• Experience selling SaaS solutions into SLED, Higher Education, or Manufacturing.
• Understanding of customer requirements, buying processes, and industry priorities.
• Experience with ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM or related enterprise tech platforms preferred.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and multi-opportunity management.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to lead technical discovery and tailor solution strategies.
• Develop and deliver demonstrations aligned to industry workflows and customer priorities.
• Translate customer needs into defined business and technical solutions.
• Build repeatable vertical-specific demos and best practices for GTM.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success for feedback.
