Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in New York City seeks experienced technical leaders to coach and grow Solutions Architects, shaping cloud architectures and solution selling across enterprise and mid-market accounts.

You will lead a team, drive adoption of AWS, mentor architects, and collaborate with sales to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions for banking and financial services, including regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise IT experience including hands-on software development or DevOps.
2+ years of cloud architecture/operating solutions on major cloud providers.
8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end roadmaps for cloud transformations.
Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals in customer facing roles.
3+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Build and migrate applications to the AWS platform.
Hire, onboard, and develop Solutions Architects.
Educate customers on AWS value and participate in architectural discussions.
Coach architects to transfer technical skills to customers.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
Guide the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and guidance for customers.
