The role requires strong geotechnical knowledge, project management experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams on site. Local travel to Sullivan jobsite is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 4 years related experience.
• Union related experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience in foundation drilling and construction project management may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee solar construction operations for projects, ensuring safety regulations and project specifications.
• Lead solar construction crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet goals and deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret geotechnical data and optimize foundation designs.
• Develop construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Conduct site inspections to assess soil conditions, drilling progress, and quality control.
• Enforce safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings; train crew members.
• Maintain equipment; order supplies; manage inventory for drilling operations.
• Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Prepare reports and project updates for stakeholders and management.
• Lead and manage foundation drilling projects from start to finish within budget and time.
