Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the DET IT Finance Engineering team to shape the architecture of Workday Finance and enterprise integrations. You will lead end-to-end design, champion AI tooling, and deploy cloud-native integration patterns across AWS and GCP.

You will mentor engineers, drive API-led connectivity, and ensure secure, scalable solutions with a focus on financial systems and external banking integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise software engineering.
• 5+ years Workday Financials / Accounting Center experience.
• Leadership in architecture and design for large-scale systems.
• Hands-on with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led integrations.
• Experience with AI developer productivity tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for Workday Financials and integration platforms.
• Architect secure, scalable Workday-MuleSoft integrations across platforms.
• Lead adoption of AI developer tools and embedding AI practices.
• Design and operate cloud-native integration infra on AWS and/or GCP.
• Mentor engineers and lead cross-functional delivery at scale.
