Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the DET IT Finance Engineering team to shape the architecture for Workday Financials and enterprise integrations, including MuleSoft. You will champion AI tooling across the engineering lifecycle and promote cloud-native design on AWS and GCP.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise software, strong leadership, and deep Workday integration experience. You will mentor engineers and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable finance platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including Workday/ integration work.
• Strong architectural and leadership capabilities for large-scale systems.
• Expert Workday frameworks knowledge: BPs, Security, Accounting Center, Prism, EIB, Studio, Extend, Orchestrate, BIRT.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform mastery for API-led integrations.
• Experience with AI developer tools and embedding AI into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for Workday Financials and enterprise integrations.
• Architect and deliver secure, scalable Workday-MuleSoft integrations across platforms.
• Lead adoption of AI developer tools and embed AI into engineering workflows.
• Design and operate cloud-native integration infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
