Job summary

Salesforce seeks a veteran engineering leader to guide the DET IT Finance Engineering team. You will shape enterprise finance solutions, steer Workday Financials and related integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable platforms.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture reviews, and champion AI/automation adoption while ensuring security and performance across critical finance systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience with 7+ years in Workday Financials/Accounting Center.
• Strong leadership in architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Hands-on Workday integrations with external platforms using APIs, connectors, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable Workday Financial solutions and related integrations.
• Design and govern Workday Financial integrations with external systems (Salesforce, Vertex, MuleSoft, banking platforms).
• Translate complex finance requirements into robust designs aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Ensure coding standards, security practices, and performance optimization across teams.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews, technical decisions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and third-party integrators to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive innovation with AI/ML, automation, and modern integration tooling.
• Foster continuous learning and engineering excellence across Workday and integration squads.
• Anticipate future needs and evolve frameworks and tools to scale for growth.
