Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a visionary Lead Software Engineer for the DET IT Finance Engineering team. You will define architecture for Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and enterprise integration platforms, and drive secure API-led integrations across key systems.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise software engineering, deep Workday/MuleSoft expertise, and hands-on cloud-native design with AWS/GCP. You will mentor engineers and lead AI-enabled initiatives across the pipeline.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including Workday Financials/Accounting Center or comparable ERP
Experience leading architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems
Hands-on mastery of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and building scalable API-led integrations
Strong knowledge of integration architectures: SOA, event-driven design, REST/SOAP APIs, async messaging
Familiarity with AI developer productivity tools and embedding AI into engineering workflows

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end architecture for Workday Financials and enterprise integration platforms.
Architect secure, scalable Workday‑MuleSoft integrations across Salesforce and banking platforms.
Lead adoption of AI developer tools and embed AI in the engineering workflow.
Design and operate cloud-native integration infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
