Salesforce seeks a self-directed Lead Software Engineer for the DET IT Finance Engineering team. You will set technical direction for Workday Finance and MuleSoft integrations, champion AI adoption, and apply cloud-native thinking to platform design.
This role demands enterprise-scale leadership, deep integration experience, and mentor-like guidance to deliver secure, scalable solutions across AWS/GCP.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, with Workday Financials/Accounting Center or Oracle/SAP ERP familiarity.
- Experience in complex, integration-heavy environments.
- Strong architectural leadership in large-scale enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern end-to-end architecture for Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and enterprise integration platforms.
- Architect and deliver secure, scalable Workday-MuleSoft integrations across Salesforce, RevRec, Vertex, and banking platforms.
- Lead adoption of AI developer tools (Cursor, Copilot, CodeWhisperer) and automation platforms in the engineering workflow.
- Design and operate cloud-native integration infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP, modernizing legacy patterns.
- Mentor engineers through architecture and code reviews, foster continuous learning and collaboration.
