Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the DET IT Finance Engineering team in the United States.

You will define architecture for Workday Financials and MuleSoft integrations, and champion AI adoption across the engineering lifecycle. You will mentor engineers, lead cross-functional collaboration, and shape cloud-native integration platforms on AWS/GCP while aligning with governance standards to deliver scalable enterprise solutions at Salesforce.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience including Workday Financials / Accounting Center or comparable ERP.
Experience in complex, integration-heavy environments.
Technical leadership in architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems.
Workday technical frameworks and MuleSoft integration expertise.
Hands-on experience with AI developer productivity tools and embedding AI into workflow.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with log analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
Experience with REST/SOAP, SOA, event-driven design, and API-led integrations.

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end architecture for Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and integration platforms.
Architect secure, scalable Workday-MuleSoft integrations across platforms.
Lead adoption of AI developer tools and embed AI into engineering practices.
Design and operate cloud-native integration infrastructure on AWS/GCP with modern patterns.
Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
