Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to steer the architecture of our simulation platform from remote locations. You will guide complex features and set engineering standards, ensuring scalable, robust code and high-quality deliverables.

In this role you will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and own critical subsystems. Strong C++ expertise and Windows UI experience are required for success in a highly autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years desktop software development, preferably in a simulation background.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14+).
• Experience with Windows apps using Visual Studio 2019+.
• Familiarity with MFC for Windows UI.
• Experience with object serialization formats (XML, JSON).
• Applied ML to simulation projects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in desktop software development, ideally from a simulation software background

• Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI
