Job summary

Htprof is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive technical leadership across core subsystems for a simulation software platform. You will guide architectural decisions, champion modern engineering practices, and safeguard the long-term health of the codebase.

You will operate with autonomy, mentor engineers, and act as a trusted domain expert while delivering complex features and ensuring high-quality software. Portland-based, with a strong C++ and Windows development background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years in desktop software development, preferably in simulation.
• Proficient in modern C++ (C++14+) and Windows apps with Visual Studio 2019+; familiar with MFC; knows XML/JSON.

Requirements:
