Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Lead Superintendent (Siteworks) for the SPL5 project. The role oversees ground improvement, earthworks, roads, and drainage, leading craft and subcontractor teams while ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with project plans.

You will coordinate with the Infrastructure Area Superintendent, drive the three-week look-ahead, and support preconstruction planning before long-term site assignment in Sabine Pass, LA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in civil construction on large projects.
• Previous supervisory experience within civil discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for siteworks including ground improvement, earthworks, roads and drainage.
• Supervise and direct craft supervisors, craft and subcontractors.
• Report to Infrastructure Area Superintendent on priorities and coordination.
• Coordinate with safety leads to champion ZERO Accident safety program.
• Ensure design documents are provided to craft and approved changes.
• Manage cost, schedule and three-week look-ahead for labor and equipment.
• Prepare material requisitions and support with procurement.
