Job summary

Bechtel invites applications for a Lead Superintendent (Siteworks) on the SPL5 project, with initial work in Houston before long-term field deployment to Sabine Pass, LA. You will oversee ground improvement, earthworks, roads and drainage, directing craft supervisors and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets.

Required are a Civil/Engineering background and 9+ years of supervisory civil experience on large projects, with a strong emphasis on safety, ES&H and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 9 years’ relevant work experience (13 years if no degree).
• Experience in civil construction on large projects and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Siteworks operations: ground improvement, earthworks, roads, drainage, retaining wall.
• Lead craft supervisors, coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines.
• Manage 3-week look-ahead schedule and budget with project controls.
• Ensure ES&H policies, safety training and ZERO accident objectives are met.
