Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Superintendent (Siteworks) for the SPL5 expansion at Sabine Pass LNG facility in Cameron Parish, LA. The role will direct all Siteworks activities, supervise crafts, and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets and specifications.

The position may start in Houston, TX then relocate to Sabine Pass. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 2–5 years of relevant civil/site experience, plus strong communication and supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–5 years relevant work experience (or 6–9 years without degree).
• Knowledge of earthworks, ground improvement, and civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Directs Siteworks activities, crafts schedules and supervision.
• Interpret Engineering design documents and drawings.
• Coordinate with Field Engineers, Foremen and crafts to meet schedules.
• Develops projections for workforce, materials and equipment.
• Ensure safety and conformance to specs and budgets.
