JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer within Enterprise Technology (Infrastructure Platforms) to shape the future of reliability for critical data assets. You will own enterprise backup and data protection platforms like Cohesity, Commvault and NetBackup, ensuring recoverability, compliance, and resilience across firm data assets.

You will mentor engineers, drive resiliency reviews, and lead large-scale improvements across multiple domains, including AI-enabled reliability

Formación

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience administering Cohesity, Commvault and NetBackup at enterprise scale.
• Knowledge of backup capabilities: retention, immutability, monitoring, restores, and automation.
• Proven reliability, scalability, performance, security, and toil-reduction practices.
• Experience with observability tools and telemetry collection (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk).
• Proficiency in Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET and automation scripting for backup ops.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS).
• Understanding storage technologies and SAN/NAS, plus encryption in backup replication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead site reliability culture and document knowledge in internal forums.
• Administer backup platforms (Cohesity, Commvault, NetBackup) and plan migrations for legacy systems.
• Oversee data protection initiatives, backup telemetry, reporting and annual certification processes.
• Drive reliability improvements using data-driven analysis to improve service levels and reduce toil.
• Define service level indicators and collaborate with stakeholders on service level objectives and error budgets.
• Act as primary incident lead for data protection applications and coordinate rapid resolution to minimize business impact.
• Leverage AI capabilities for triage, troubleshooting and post-incident analysis with proper governance.
• Promote AI-assisted reliability workflows across the software development lifecycle and toolchain.
• Provide high-level technical expertise and mentorship across engineering teams.
