Surface Preparation Technologies is seeking a Shop Manager to oversee daily shop operations, fleet maintenance, and supervision of maintenance personnel. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and cost-effective repairs for a large truck and equipment fleet.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy-duty truck maintenance, CDL, hydraulic know-how, and strong leadership abilities to drive process improvements and maintain high equipment uptime.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• State Inspection License (Class 1, 3, or 7).
• Ability to own and maintain basic tools for servicing heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, and valves.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, engine, and equipment systems.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily shop operations, vehicle inspections, fleet maintenance scheduling, repairs, and inventory management.
• Direct preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and heavy-duty truck service for timely, cost-effective completion.
• Coordinate work orders, service appointments, and repair deadlines.
• Communicate with Operations and Dispatch to prioritize equipment needs and minimize downtime.
• Schedule and manage fleet maintenance for availability and readiness.
• Review and approve repair orders, invoices, and maintenance documentation.
