Job summary

MOD Pizza is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Issaquah, WA. You will lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and ensure guest experiences align with MOD standards. You’ll motivate the squad, manage deployment, and support management to keep the operation running smoothly.

You’ll build leadership skills, set the team up for success, and model MOD’s purpose in every interaction while adapting to peak demand and guiding the squad through program rollouts and daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or informal leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes; coach others.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure guests are served by the right squad member with proper deployment.
• Train newly hired or promoted squad members and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, review systems).
• Use MOD tools to ensure food safety in Back and Front of House.
• Listen to concerns and escalate issues to the AM or GM as appropriate.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately, including refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to complete tasks.
• Review emails for updates from Slice and other sources for squad guidance.
