Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Hillsboro, OR to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires. You will model MOD’s purpose, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive compliant, high-quality service across all tasks.

You will flex to needs of the restaurant, sometimes leading and sometimes performing, while maintaining the MOD experience for every guest on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Strong decision-making and prioritization skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and provide coaching.
• Calm under high-volume conditions.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Must be able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new programs.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment, including online ordering and catering.
• Ensure food safety and MOD standards are followed.
• Address squad and guest concerns and escalate when needed.
• Handle cash and deposits accurately within the shift.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Complete shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Monitor communications from MOD and other sources for squad guidance.
