Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. leads the Womens Housing Navigation Center in Albuquerque, providing shelter, meals, and housing navigation services.

You will supervise Housing Support Specialists, guide daily staff assignments, coordinate shift coverage, and support intake, case management, and resident needs with a trauma-informed, dignified approach. The role emphasizes coaching, staff development, and hands-on resident support to ensure safe, efficient operations and timely responses to resident

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience providing case management, housing navigation, or resident support in a shelter, supportive housing, or comparable social services setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, coach, or coordinate staff; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of homelessness, housing barriers, community resources, and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to Housing Support Specialists.
• Oversee daily staff assignments and shift coverage; coach team members.
• Involved in intake, case management, housing navigation, and resident needs.
• Review client documentation and monitor service quality; address operational concerns.
• Model trauma-informed care and strengths-based approaches while empowering residents.
